Lois Marie Holst Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2023, at the age of 88, Lois Marie Holst of Forest City, Iowa, born in Thompson, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Finer and Evelyn Finer (Anderson); her husband Ralph Holst; her granddaughter Christine Holst; her siblings, Eileen Strong (Jim), Virginia Severson (Bob), Ardis Olson (Joe), Vincent Finer (Eunice), Marjorie Senne (Alvin) and Junior Finer (Joan); her brother-in-law Richard Olson; her nieces, Beverly Heinlen (Olson) and Dawn Margro (Finer); and her nephew Jeff Olson.
She is survived by: her friend Ray Albers; her children, Mike Holst (Lorna) of Goodell, IA, Janet Scroggins (Bernie) of Fayette, IA, Nancy Toenges (Doug Driscoll) of Bronson, MI, Bryon Holst (Denise) of Forest City, IA and Sally Klawitter (Dennis) of Wausau, WI; her grandchildren, Adam Walz (Jessica), Nicky Lettner (Jarett), Brad Toenges (Corrine), Jason Toenges, Ryan King (Lisa Lopez), Jeremy King (Jessica), Iva Scroggins, Heather Scroggins, Kylie West (Jake) and Rachel Holst; her great grandchildren, Ryan Jr. "R. J.", Aleczander, Husq, Aloeishes, Zackaryea, Gabrielle "Gabby" and Octavious; and her siblings, Keith Finer (Bev), Ruby Olson, Kenneth Finer (Sue) and Barb Thompson (Ron). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
