He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest L. Kearney and Madeline Moldenhauer (Behrends); and his stepfather Clifford Moldenhauer. He is survived by: his wife Gloria of Forest City; his stepson Richard Miller (Joni) of Forest City; his grandchildren, Marissa, Jenna Miller, Kane Smith, Alex Alhamaidi, Luke, Max and Tate Kearney; and his sisters, Marilyn Robinson (Darrel) of Clear Lake and Judy Clark (Robert) of Britt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great friends.
Due to COVID-19, the family is planning a celebration of life at 4:00 PM, Saturday, July 11th, 2020 at the Kearney residence, 3370 Taft Avenue, Forest City.
Memorials may be made in his name to Pheasant's Forever, Duck's Unlimited or the Donor's choice.
