With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Ann Carlson (Forest City, Iowa), born in Titonka, Iowa, who passed away on September 30, 2018 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Buffington and Dorothy Buffington (Budlong); her husband Ernest Carlson; and her nephews, Shane Buffington and Brandon Buffington.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Carlson, Melinda Keough (Greg) and Michael Carlson of Forest City, IA; her grandchildren, Brian Carlson (Kate), Chelsea Carlson (Dalton), Courtney Rheingans (James) and Kelly Munroe (Larissa) of Canada; her great grandchildren, Morgan, Savannah, Skylar Carlson, Brier Aldridge, Charlee Grace Aldridge, James Rhenigans and Alexa Rhenigans; and her brother Kent Buffington Morton (Carol). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be held in the Wesley Evergreen Cemetery, west of Wesley, Iowa In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Kathleen Carlson memorial fund in care of the family.
