Albertson of Forest City, Iowa, born in Thompson, Iowa, who passed away on August 16, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Osmund Torkelson and Bessie Torkelson (Olson); her husband Charles Albertson; her great grandchildren, Marta Anderson and Louisa Feldkamp; her sister Othelia; her brother-in-law Clarence Torkelson; her sister Lavina; her brother-in-law Ingvald Askeland; her brother Joe; her sister-in-law Lillian Torkelson; her siblings, Clifford Torkelson and Thelma; her brother-in-law Ingvald Sunde; her sister Louise; her brother-in-law Walter Jermeland; her siblings, Orrin Torkelson and Myrtle; her brother-in-law Melvin Olson; her siblings, John Torkelson, Art Torkelson and Darlene; and her brother-in-law Marvin Hanna.
She is survived by: her children, Barb Jacobson (Roger) of Estherville, David Albertson (Sheryl) of Leland and Joel Albertson (Tanda) of Leland; her grandchildren, Angela Pazurek (Will) of Austin, MN, Kara Quam (Paul) of Battle Lake, MN, Amber Dahl (Ben) of Moorhead, MN, Laurann Anderson (James) of Leland, Betsie Feldkamp (Dan) of Apple Valley, MN, Tisha Thompson (Scott) of Forest City, IA, Ethan Albertson (Michelle) of Forest City, Luke Albertson (Monica) of Richfield, MN and Erika Willey (Aaron) of Mankato, MN; her great grandchildren, Brooke (Josh), Grace (Sam), Trevor, Kendra (Reggie), Joel, Tony, Gini, Ava, Derek, Cole (Brynn), Brady, Elsa, Morgan, Tamsen, Eljiah, Lee, Miread, Noelle, Olivia, Grant, Keagan, Levi, Coby, Troy, Iylah, Adrah, Tristen, Aubrey, Connor and Emma; her great great grandchildren, Tallulah, Rosie, Junia, Laney and Charles; and her sisters-in-law, Marian Torkelson, Bonnie Torkelson and Linda (Will).
