She was predeceased by: her husband Ben; and her parents, Robert Bridges and Isabel Bridges. She is survived by: her children, Chip Carter (Jan) of Georgetown, TX, Cindy Carter of Forest City and Bob Carter (Yvonne) of Savage, MN; her grandchildren, Jason Carter (Amber), Joshua Carter (Stephanie), Haille Leija (Arnold), Ashley Burress (Nathan) and Anthony Carter (Yelena); her great grandchildren, Isabel, Max, Jackson, Ben, Jensen, Andrew and Winston; and her sister Janet Halbach of Berkeley, CA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church (305 S Clark St, Forest City, IA 50436). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oakland Cemetery (1445 US-69, Forest City, IA 50436).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials go to the United Methodist Church and the Good Samaritan Society.
