He was predeceased by: his stepfather Art Gambell; and his uncle David Gambell. He is survived by: his parents, Judy Gambell and Jim Lund (Mary); his brothers, Mike Lund (Diane) and Gary Lund; his half-brother Nathan Gambell (Cassie); his stepsister Jessica Cahoon (Jon); and his nieces and nephews, Jayden, Nicholas, Chase, Faith, Jacob, Matthew and Hunter.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes gifts to be given to the Hospice of North Iowa.
