She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Jensen and Nelia Jensen (Oftedahl); her siblings, Curtis, Vernon, Glen Jensen, Sally Lewerke and Joan Gallion; and her parents-in-law, Jake and Tena Appelhons.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Dean Appelhons; her daughters, Suzanne Lampe (Brian) of Windsor, CO, Julie Dickinson (Tom) of Colorado Springs, CO and Jennifer Mericle (Jon) of Mason City, IA; her grandchildren, James Appelhons, Amber Burton (Garrett), Chelsie Eckels, Kayla Shotts (Keenan), Jacob Mericle and Jayce Mericle; her great grandchildren, Charlize Eckels, Jamesen Diehl and Cash Burton; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Reyerson (Cecil) of Clear Lake, IA and Jeanne Tollagson (Wayne) of Crystal Lake, IA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Jackie Appelhons memorial fund in care of the family.
