With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Galen Alfred Borchardt (Forest City, Iowa), who passed away on March 22, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Borchardt and Elizabeth Borchardt (Schmidt); his wife Melba Fox; his sister Delores Suby; and his nieces, Peggie Sue and Rochelle Suby.
He is survived by: his brother Glendon Borchardt of Osage, IA; and his nieces, Cindy Bidne (Kevin) of Fertile, IA, Jean Leraaen of Mason City and Joan Snyder (Jeff) of Meservey, IA. He is also survived by five great nieces and nephews and special friends.
