She was predeceased by: her parents, Sven Meling and Lena Meling (Chentland); her husband Wayne Bang; her son Rev. Steven Bang; and her siblings, Bernie Meling, Melvin Meling and Olive Miller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Peterson of Forest City and Brenda Bartley (Scott) of Pensacola, Florida; her grandchildren, Chad Hanson (Marcy) and Tanya Droessler; her great grandchildren, Dakota Droessler, Colby Droessler, Haley Droessler and Keaton Hanson; and her brother Sylvan Meling.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Good Samaritan Society, 606 S 7th Street, Forest City, IA 50436 in memory of Dorothy Bang.
