He is survived by: his wife Kathy of Forest City; his children, Chris Meinecke and Jen Baker (George); his stepgrandchildren, Chelsie and Zach Baker; his brother Doug; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Purcell (Dan) and Joan Losey (Brad).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Forest City Ambulance Service, the Forest City Fire Department, or St James Catholic Church in Forest City.
