She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Bunce and Gladys Bunce (Beaman); her husband Wilfred Herr; and her brothers, Clare (Virginia Bunce) and Earl (Arlene Bunce).

She is survived by: her grandchild Bohling; her children, Bruce (Sherry Herr) of Fontanelle and Karen (David Rutledge) of Estherville; her grandchildren, Chad (Shawna Herr), Nic (Dionne Fett), Matt (Tiffany Herr), Lauri (Brian Talyat), Mindy Rutledge (Greg Prentice) and Tom (Sheila Rutledge); her son Lynn Bohling (Elaine); and her sister Doris (Dale Molln). She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

Memorials: May be directed to the Helen Herr Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
