He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry George and Beulah Winter (Armstrong); his wife Frances Templeman Schwanebeck; and his siblings, George Winter and Dorothy Freeman.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Carmen Buell (Larry) of Urbandale, Iowa; his granddaughters, Tracy and Christina Buell; his nieces, Sandra Wyllie, Cynthia Sickles (David) and Sharlene Murphy; and his nephew Earl Winter (Eddie). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
