He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harpenau and Philomena Harpenau (Langel); his wife Jeanette Harpenau; his siblings, LeRoy Harpenau, Doris Bergner, Donnie Harpenau, Billy Joe Harpenau and Helen Galles; and his parents-in-law, Eugene Poeckes, Roger Poeckes, Paul Poeckes, Mark Poeckes, Peg Poeckes and Geraldine Hilton.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Seible (Mark) of Brunsville, IA, Jack Harpenau (Donna) of Waterloo, IN, Doug Harpenau (Judy) of La Crescent, MN, Laurie Lint of Kyle, TX, Julie Pottebaum (Mike) of Alton, IA, Frank Harpenau (Heather) of La Crosse, WI and Rodney Harpenau (Michelle) of Smithville, MO; and his siblings, Vernell Chapman, Ray Harpenau (Shirley), Margie Frericks (Rich), Tom Harpenau (Sharon), Paul Galles, Art Poeckes, Dennis Poeckes (Kathy), Pam Poeckes and Sharon Poeckes (Eugene). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
Social distancing and wearing a mask will be required.
