She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pehler and Margaret Pehler (Streng); her son Allan; her brothers, George Allan, Max, James (Sandy) and John "Jack" Pehler; and her parents-in-law, Harry and Mabel Peterson (Carroll).
She is survived by: her husband Darrell Peterson of Le Mars, IA; her daughters, Ann Luksan (Larry) of Le Mars, IA and Susan Peterson of Le Mars, IA; her granddaughters, Sara of Des Moines, IA, Angie of Le Mars, IA and Amanda (Jimmy Harris) of Sioux City, IA; her great grandchildren, Devon, Austin (Courtney Sitzmann), Ethan and Caiden; her great great grandchild Haizlee; and her sister-in-law Betty Jean Peterson of Cyprus, CA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
