Mary Arment Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2020, at the age of 96, Mary Arment (Floyd, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Gibert and Alma Gibert (Poole); her husbands, John Carmichael and George Arment; her sons, Fred Lynn Carmichael and James William Carmichael; her siblings, Alma Gibert and Bill Gibert; her parents-in-law, George Carson and Mary Carmichael (Frye); and her brother-in-law Glen Carmichael.
She is survived by: her children, Mary, Connie Hill of Portland, OR, John Carmichael of Peculiar, MO, Carol Peoples (Rick) of Washington, IA and Jill Mitchell (Greg) of Le Mars, IA; her grandchildren, Kim Hill (Fernando Pena) of Portland, OR, Jenna Hill (Marcus Bratcher) of Portland, OR, Andy Peoples (Patrice) of Ottawa, KS, Matt Peoples (April) of Coralville, IA, Lauren Walker (Keaton) of Coralville, IA, Amanda Susemihl (Joe) of Le Mars, IA and Chris Mitchell of Spearfish, SD; her great grandchildren, Hunter Peoples (Emily), Page Peoples, Olivia Peoples, Landon Peoples, Lola Walker, Ella Walker and Claire Susemihl; and her great great grandchild Luke Peoples. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
