It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Summerside in Floyd, Iowa, born in Redfield, South Dakota, who passed away on November 22, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank H. Summerside and Caroline Summerside (Oestreich); his wife Ruth; his siblings, Dorothy, Carol, Helen, Rosemary, Robert, George and Jean; and his nephews, Mark, Fred, Jeff and George.
He is survived by: his children, Nathan Summerside of Le Mars, IA, Paul Summerside (Margaret) of De Pere, WI and Joan Summerside (Matt Mesnik) of Golden Valley, MN; and his grandchildren, Erik (Maddie), Jordan Summerside (Nicole), Mark, Meg Summerside, Darnell Clark (Kara), Abby Mesnik (Adam Frei) and Ellen Mesnik. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
