She is survived by: her children, David Burkard (Shirley) of Brunsville, IA, Donna Mills (Fred) of St. Charles, MO, Lois Jackson of Council Bluffs, IA, Daniel Burkard (Lynn Horensavitz) of East Haven, CT and Claudia Koenig (Mike) of Council Bluffs, IA; her grandchildren, Zachary Burkard, Michaela Krahling (Joshua), Melissa Wright (Bryan), Amy Ann Schindhelm (Mike), Misty Stayton (Chris), Rachel Higgens (Brandon), Heather Kellar (Mitch), Michael Koenig and Matthew Koenig; and her parents-in-law, Abby Burkard of Le Mars, IA and Chris Burkard (Gloria) of Kerrville, TX. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
