He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Smith and Marjorie Ione Smith (Boettger); and his brother Larry Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sally Smith of Le Mars, IA; his daughters, Robin Adeoti (Yinusa) of Louisville, KY and Kelli Smith of Le Mars, IA; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Lucas, Kyle, Alex and Shawn. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
