He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Howard and Ella Jane Farris Swaim. He is survived by: his wife Penny Swaim; his children, Heather Morehouse (Bill) of Ottumwa and Aaron Swaim (Dianna) of Floris, Iowa; his grandson Reed Swaim; and his brother Curtis Joe Swaim (Trish) of Wisconsin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to his family.
