He is survived by: his wife Sandra O'Donnell (Engel) of Fertile, IA; his children, Dave O'Donnell (Melinda) of Troy, TX, Vern O'Donnell (Norma) of Palm Coast, FL, Chuck O'Donnell of Doon, IA, Roland O'Donnell (Annette) of Joice, IA, Shari Kelley (Parker) of Holmen, WI, Karen Dennler (Darren) of Crawfordsville, IA, Christine Olsen (Terry) of Conifer, CO and Donovan O'Donnell (Lori) of Canistota, SD; and his sister Dorothy Norton. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
