He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Jenkins (Suby) and Lawrence "Bud" Jenkins; his son Jason Andrew; his parents-in-law, Glen and Marcella Purcell (Brue); his sisters, Norma Jean Tarr and Cheri Jenkins; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Purcell and Bob Cates.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Purcell; his children, Fertile, Joleen Midtgaard (Jody), Jody Harmon (Kevin), Jeanna Bina (Chad) and Mark Jenkins (Jen); his grandchildren, Mitch Bartleson, Paige Nicholas (Andrew), Mady Espeland, Ben Midtgaard, Kenna Espeland, Dylan Jenkins, Carter Jenkins, Ellie Jenkins and Kiara Bina; his great grandchildren, Liam Bartleson, Estelle and William Nicholas; his stepgrandchildren, Ashley Skiye (Nick) and Tyler Harmon (Hannah); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jaidyn, Brooklyn Skiye and McCoy Harmon; and his siblings, Fran Cates of Mason City, Connie Dirks (Wayne) of Clear Lake and Bonnie Secory (Mike) of Clear Lake. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Bear Creek Golf Course.
