With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Ann Biretz (Fertile, Iowa), who passed away on December 7, 2018 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Joseph "Joe" and Leona Grace Koster (Damman); and her siblings, Jeanne Fluhrer, John Koster and Karen Hennigar.

She is survived by: her husband Lee Biretz of Fertile; her son Matthew Biretz of Des Moines; and her siblings, Mary Bocock of Marion, Dean Koster (Jim Gibson) of Iowa City and Doris Naney (Steve) of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
