He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Edward and Mary Louise Arthur Garr; his sister Kathy; and his brother-in-law Bill Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Denise Kay Black of Fenton; his stepson Michael Murray of Algona; his niece Molly DeKorne (Dan) of Tama; his nephews, Luke Bailey (Rebecca) of Lynnville, Jake Bailey (Elizabeth) of Carroll, Ben Bailey (Elle) of Searsboro and Hank Bailey (Emma) of Grinnell; and his sister Marla Criswell (Neil) of Titonka, Iowa.. He is also survived by His niece, nephews, and their children.
