He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Rycroft (Brewer); his former wife Pat Rycroft (Jones); and his sister-in-law Phyllis. He is survived by: his parent Fenton Rycroft; his wife Sarey Gifford; his brother R. G.; his children, Barbara Harlson (John), Charles Gifford (Joan) and Lynn Gifford (John Jaglowski); his grandchildren, Jill Gifford, Brooke Gifford (Dave Striegel), Erin Phillips (Dan), Michael Harlson (Brittni), Adam Eversoll (Kathy) and Hanna Walsh (Jared); and his great grandchildren, Cole, Sienna Striegel, Kaiden, T. J. Phillips, Raegan and Rowan Harlson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (1519 S Washington Blvd, Camanche, IA 52730). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
