He is survived by: his wife Patricia Berkes of Fayette; his children, Daniel Berkes (Renee) of Union Grove, AL, Ken Berkes of Oelwein, Jane Berkes (Brian Shannon) of Hawkeye, Marla Warnke (Bret) of Westgate, Jennifer Brownell (Judd Steben) of Polk City and Tracey Fucaloro of Urbandale; and his sister Mary Pauline Janicki of Carpentersville, IL.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
