He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Pennebaker and Betty Mae Pennebaker (Lawrence); and his brothers, John and Larry. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Frank; his son Robert Pennebaker, Jr. (Sherryl) of Fayette; his grandchildren, Ryan (Kelsey) and Kristen (Tony); his great grandchildren, Kellen, Eden, Weston and Oaklynn; and his sister Margaret "Sis" Copper of Fairfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Lone Tree American Legion Post 457 in memory of Bob.
