She was predeceased by: her father John S. Starnes; her son Donald Merlin McAllister; her husband Merlin R. McAllister; her mother Jennie J. Starnes (Jones); her siblings, John Starnes and Nora Nelson (Starnes); her grandson Jason McAllister; and her granddaughter-in-law Jennifer McAllister.
She is survived by: her daughter Marcia Ann McAllister of Shenandoah; her daughter-in-law Karen McAllister of Farragut; and her grandchildren, Donald Patrick McAllister (Tracy) of Calhan, Colorado, Tera Lynne Krueger (Erich) of Glenwood, Iowa and Jeremy Todd McAllister of Farragut. She is also survived by her 8 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials will be directed to the Farragut United Methodist Church and there will be private interment of ashes later in the Farragut, IA Cemetery.
