He was predeceased by: his parents, George Harvey and Evelyn Mae Powers (Scott); and his siblings, Gloria Booher and Richard Powers. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Powers (Nance) of Farragut, IA; his daughters, Tara Powers (John Grasso) of Minnesota and Jamie Grate (Dustin) of Gretna, NE; his grandchildren, Caylee and Casen Grate of Gretna, NE; his stepchildren, Becki Sickman (Gery) of Farragut, IA and Rich Gourley (Jackie) of Shenandoah, IA; his brothers-in-law, Ted Houser (Bobbie) of Shenandoah, IA and Jim Houser (Ellen) of Mammoth Spring, AR; and his cousin John "Skip" Powers (Kathy) of Red Oak, IA. He is also survived by six step grandchildren; 11 step great grandchildren.
