He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Schmadeke and Elvina Schmadeke (Killian); and his sister Cynthia. He is survived by: his wife Amy Schaefer; his children, Julie Tucker (Russ) of Gowrie, Dale Schmadeke of Farnhamville, Sarah Peters (Craig) of Marion, Laura Chalstrom (Aaron) of Gowrie, Don Schmadeke (Miranda) of Dayton and Anne Simpson (Chris) of Callender; his siblings, Susan Lane of Cumberland, Rochelle Neppl (Dick) of Alexandria, SD and Clay Schmadeke (Lana) of Callender; and his mother-in-law Janice Schaefer of Gowrie. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
