He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Lyle, Sr. and Beulah May Fye (Sloan); his wife Clara Joann Newberry; and his sister LuAnn. He is survived by: his children, Terri Fye of Fort Myers, Marc Fye (Susan) of Edmond and Cole Fye of Edmond, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Courtney Beem and Rachel Bartholomew (Brad); and his sisters, Lori Keough (Farrell) of Frederick and Cecelia Podolak (Peter) of Vancouver.

A memorial has been established in his memory.
