Glenda Townsend Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2021, at the age of 79, Glenda Townsend of Farmington, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen O. Ware and Stella M. Ware (Derr); her stepfather Frank Bideaux; and her siblings, Glen "Bud" Ware, Arlene and Betty.
She is survived by: her husband David Townsend; her children, Cindy Thomas (Mike) of Farmington, Iowa and Rodney Townsend (Katie) of Farmington, Iowa.; her grandchildren, MaKayla Frueh (Jacob), Stefanie Heckenberg (Jory), Leona Coffman (Dylan), Patricia Townsend and Stephen Townsend; her great grandchildren, Brandon, Caleb, Kasen and Wyatt; and her sisters, Donna Jean Meinhardt of Fort Madison and Lois White of Wever, Iowa.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial has been established in her memory for Farmington EMT's.
