With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Allen Boyd of Farmington, Iowa, born in Keosauqua, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald LaVerne and Jessie Louise Boyd (Pittman); and his siblings, Marvina Sullivan, Cecelia Poole, Marlin Boyd and Blair Boyd.
He is survived by: his son Travis Boyd (Kari) of Tea; his grandchildren, Maizy and Cru; and his siblings, Floyd Boyd, Brenda Cook (Randy), Connie Boyd (Jeff Oaks) and Julie Krauter (Stephen). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schmitz Funeral Homes - Farmington (501 S 4th St, Farmington, IA 52625). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
