It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bill Denly of Farmington, Iowa, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Denly and Dorothy Denly (Schau); and his former wife Margie Denly. He is survived by: his wife Emma Denly; his children, Amie Bradley (Tom), Billy Jo Alderton (Brian) and Roger Denly (Rachael); his grandchildren, Kristin Bradley (Thomas Brechler), Drew Bradley, Zach Alderton (Kayla), Briana Wideman (Lawson), Maggie Moore (Willie), Alizah and Brooklynn Denly; his great grandchildren, Quinn, Jade Brechler, Keaton, Sage, Baker Alderton, Aiden, Liam, Evelyn Wideman, Fayth and Hayvn Moore; his stepchildren, Jane Trammell (Bill), Doug Gatton (Lisa), Wilma Moore (Jeremy) and Jason Gatton (Angie); his stepgrandchildren, Tara Gatton, Wyatt Gatton, Jessica Moore and Becca Moore; and his brother Robert Denly. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Schmitz Funeral Homes - Farmington (501 S 4th St, Farmington, IA 52625). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established in his memory for Greenglade Cemetery.
