It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Greenwood of Farley, Iowa, born in Luxemburg, Iowa, who passed away on February 19, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gaul and Stella Gaul (Dolan); her husband Ray; her sister Connie Maiers; her great grandchild Aydan; and her parents-in-law, Joseph, Marcella Greenwood, Elmer Weber (Mary), Irene Engelken (Julius), Eldon Greenwood and Elmer Heims.
She is survived by: her former husband Raymond E. Greenwood; her children, Dennis Greenwood (Sue) of Dyersville, IA, Deb Pins (Joe) of Earlville, IA, Becky Knipper (Mike) of Earlville, IA and Chris Greenwood of Farley, IA; her grandchildren, Jennifer Klaren (Matt), Kayla Pins (Marcus Havertape), Allie, Erin, Dylan Knipper, Molly Urbain (Kurt) and Matt Lent (Mary); her great grandchildren, Cailin, Kaleb, Elise, Kaydence and Amelia; her siblings, Marlene Koppes (Bill Hosch) of Cascade, IA, David Gaul (Carol) of Guttenberg, IA and Donnie Gaul (Deb) of Luxemburg, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Bernie Maiers of Holy Cross, IA, Linda Greenwood of Farley, IA and Rita Heims of Prairieburg, IA..
