With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Willenbring of Farley, Iowa, who passed away on November 22, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Steffen; and her spouses, Elmer Willenbring, Aggie Demmer (Lefty), Esther Bockenstedt (Arnie) and Kay Naber (Bill).
She is survived by: her children, Donna Beresford (Terry), Dubuque (Sun City), Jim Willenbring (Joan), Deb Singley (Steve) and Dee Ann Sisam (Rick) of Bettendorf, IA; her grandchildren, Stacy Schmitz (Luke), Todd Beresford (Sherri) and Jamie Beresford (Tiffany); her great grandchildren, Katie Schoop (Jacob), Lindsey Kessler (Michael), Sarah, Hannah, Matthew, Grace Schmitz, Cayden, Connor, Olivia, Owen Meskimen, Kacie, Madeline, Abigail, Alex Mescher, Tanis, Johnathon, Jacob Willenbring, Landon, Logan Dirksen and Callum Singley; her great great grandchildren, Ava, Lyla, Jaxon, William and Evelynn Schoop; her siblings-in-law, Kay Steffen and Don Willenbring (Laura); and her great grandchild Sophia Schmitz. She is also survived by friends and relatives making new friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St Joseph's Church, Farley Garden Club, Hospice of Dubuque, or the Rita Willenbring Memorial Fund.
