John Ptacek Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Ptacek (Farley, Iowa), born in Elma, Iowa, who passed away on March 8, 2020 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Ptacek to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton J. Ptacek and Almie M. Ptacek (Vonasek); his brothers, Joseph Ptacek (Rosalia), Frank Ptacek (Lola), Clement Ptacek and Raymond Ptacek; and his brother-in-law Jim Dumsky.
He is survived by: his sister Teresa Dumsky of Sugar Creek, MO; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Ptacek of Elma, IA, Kathy Ptacek (Anderson) of Eyota, MN and Dorothy Schieltz of Farley, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, it was Fr. John's request that memorials be given to St. Joseph's Parish in Farley, Iowa or to Dubuque County Right to Life.
