He is survived by: his wife Joan Gaul of Farley; his children, Mary Jo Scott (Steve) of Bankston, James Gaul of Dyersville, Julie Culbertson (Walter) of Savanna, IL, Laurie Fallon (Mark) of Dubuque, Kathy Ehrlich (Tom) of Rickardsville, Dianne Brimeyer (Jeff) of Dubuque, David Gaul of Dyersville, Vicky Gaul of Dyersville, Ken Gaul (Sandy) of Iowa City and Kari Avenarius (Steve) of Dubuque; his sisters-in-law, Dolores Gaul of Epworth, Jean Kramer of Farley and Mary Ann Kramer of Epworth; his sisters, Eileen Hermsen (Richard) and Laura Meyer (Ralph); his great grandchild Vincent Jon Bowers; his parents-in-law, George and Marcella Muller (Hoefer); and his brothers-in-law, John Muller, Loras Kramer and Marvin Kramer. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren.
