He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Johnson and Maude Jones Johnson; his son Stephen Johnson; and his siblings, Lloyd, William, Orville Johnson, Olive Stallworth and Marjorie Onstad.
He is survived by: his wife Erma Stephenson; his daughters, Gwen Pedrick (Jim) of Douds, Myrna Johnson (Rob Sunderman) of Des Moines, Iowa and Anita Johnson (David Gardner) of Kalona, Iowa; his grandsons, Stephen Pedrick (Afton), David Pedrick, Benjamin Gardner and Matthew Gardner; and his great grandchild Anne Pedrick.
Per guidelines from the Iowa Department of Health, the use of face masks is strongly encouraged and 6 foot social distancing guidelines must be followed to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
