We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2023, at the age of 65, Veblen Makrides (Fairfield, Iowa), born in Buffalo, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Elisa; her uncle Joseph; and her aunt Sylva. She is survived by: her close friends, Pam and Bethany; her sisters, Victoria (Klaus) and Elizabeth (Ben); her stepmother Maryjane; her nieces and nephews, Paul, Gelando, Jack, Charlie and Vivian; her cousins, Pola-Elisa and Gavin; and also, Galen and Susan.
