She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew "Mac" Rinehart and Virginia "Maxine" Rinehart; and her husbands, Fred Sheffield and Phil Denney. She is survived by: her former husband Dave Neff; her husband Steve Johnston of Fairfield, IA; her daughter Laurie (Jamie) Swanson; her grandsons, Spencer and Parker Swanson; her daughter Betsy (Kelly) Luck; her grandchildren, Reid Luck and Mia Luck; her brother Dick (Maggie) Rinehart; her nephews, Eric Rinehart and Matt Rinehart; her great-niece Stefanie Johnston; her great-nephew Todd Johnston of Falls Church, VA; her siblings-in-law, Judi Yeager of Keosauqua, IA and Mike (Beth) Johnston; and her friends, Toni Dodds, Joneane Parker and Sally.
Sally requested that in lieu of flowers, any memorials be directed to the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center, First Presbyterian Church, Lord's Cupboard of Jefferson County, Fairfield Education Foundation, or the Fairfield Public Library.
