She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Pietrzak and Georgie Pietrzak (Starling). She is survived by: her children, Amber Garrison of Lansing, MI and Brandon Garrison (April) of Ames; and her sisters, Lori Strayer, Pam Klyber, Kathy Grant and Mindy Sheese.

Memorials may be made to either Brandon or Amber to contribute to their pursuit of advanced degrees.
