He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gillaspie and Louise Bell Gillaspie; and his son Steve Gillaspie. He is survived by: his wife Joy Gillaspie; his children, Cindy Scearcy (Mike) of Fairfield, IA and Wes Gillaspie (Ann) of Frankenmuth, MI; his grandchildren, Duston, Becky, Ben (Amy), Beth (Drew), Erik (Hannah) and David (Jocelyn); his stepgrandchildren, Chris (Catrina), Amber (Jim) and Derek (Jennifer); his brother Harold Gillaspie (Marjean); and his daughter-in-law Jeri. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
Memorial contributions in Robert's honor may be directed to the Immanuel Lutheran Church or to the family to be given to the ministries that Robert supported.
