With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Edward Johnson of Fairfield, Iowa, who passed away on January 8, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Johnson and Nita Johnson (Hodson); and his siblings, Raymond, Donald and Diana.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Johnson of Fairfield; his children, Sherry Bemis (Chad) of Packwood and Ron Johnson (Traci) of Simpsonville, SC; his grandchildren, Tyler Johnson (Claire), Brooke Johnson, Parker Johnson, Emily Bemis, Madison Bemis and Cade Bemis; and his siblings, Dennis Johnson (Judy), Kathy Kuhlen (Greg) and Jeff Johnson.
Memorials may be made to the family at this time, and they will decide later what the memorials will go to.
