Philip Alan Countryman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2025, at the age of 77, Philip Alan Countryman of Fairfield, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Philip Alan Countryman to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Johnson Countryman and Robert Countryman; his parents-in-law, Glenn and Arlene Tedrow; and his grandson Job Philip Renaud.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Tedrow; his children, Sarah Renaud (Kurt) and Aaron Countryman (Alysia) of Fairfield; his grandsons, Alec Renaud, Chase, Channing and Cael Countryman; and his siblings, Barbara Schwake (Gerry) of Sumner and David Countryman (Roberta) of Ames. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cranston Family Funeral Home - Fairfield (2805 W Burlington Ave, Fairfield, IA 52556). A masonic service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Shriners Children's Hospital or to the Union Cemetery Association and may be mailed c/o Cranston Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 189, Fairfield, IA 52556.
