She was predeceased by: her parents, Deryl McDowell and Elsie Thornburg McDowell; her daughter Cynthia; and her siblings, Arlen "Red" McDowell, Douglas McDowell and Joy Walters.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Coffin; her children, Rhonda Morphis of Halstead, KS, Allen Coffin (Diane) of Iowa City, IA and Kelly Lewiston of Fairfield, IA; her grandchildren, Justin Morphis (Caryn), John Morphis (Briana), Nathaniel Coffin, Kaitlyn Coffin, Troy Lewiston, Jessica Lewiston and K. C. Moore (Steven); her great grandchildren, Allianna, Jagger, Jupiter, Meredith and Carolyn; and her brother Randy McDowell (Pattie).
