She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Sembla and Delphiene Sembla (Bigando); her husband Walter Schafer; and her daughter Chauntel Wilkins. She is survived by: her former husband Maxwell Wilkins; her children, Darrick Cecchini, Lisa Harris (Jeff), Theresa Carson, William Van Ness Jr., Bryan Wilkins and Patricia Wilkins; and her grandchildren, Hunter, Katrina, Darrian, Damien, Devyne, Sidney, Cursty, Justin, Hanna, Hailey, Heather and Chris.
