Norma Joan Emerson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Joan Emerson of Fairfield, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 28, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Weirbach and Leora Weirbach; her husband Max Emerson; her siblings, Shirley Hahn (Weirbach), Robert Weirbach and Richard Weirbach; and her grandson Todd Craven.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Craven (Gary) of Boone, Bruce Emerson (Cinda) of Fairfield and Tracy Emerson of Fairfield; her grandchildren, Kelly Anderson, Shane Kramer, Greg Kramer, Brian Kramer, Erin Kruger, Sarah House, Tina Devery, Chad Emerson, Damion Goodrich and Gerrad Goodrich; and her sister Jean Cochran (Weirbach). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (203 W Briggs Ave, Fairfield, IA 52556). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at the Evergreen Cemetery (510 E Stone Ave, Fairfield, IA 52556).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to First Lutheran Church in Fairfield would be appreciated.
