She was predeceased by: her mother Naomi Ballard; her sister Inez Nelson; her brother-in-law Larry Nelson; her niece Linda Nelson; and her great-nephew Jacob Nelson.
She is survived by: her son Mark Yocum; her granddaughter Dana Wellington; her great grandchild Enola Wellington; her nephews, Alan Nelson (Susan) and Rob Nelson (Tammy); her niece Pam Neeley (Jeremy); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Amanda Alrhaus (Jeff), Jessica Stanford (Chris), Riley Eckhoff, Mike Nelson (Shannon), Brad Nelson (Christina), Kory Neeley (Mariah) and Kyle Nelson (Brianna); and also, Madyson, Jovi, Piper, Lia, Jaeden, Lilyann, Sloan, Lyndi, Damien, Sean, Jake, Jonah and Sophia.
Flowers can be sent to Murphy Funeral Home of Mount Pleasant or donations made in her name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, the University of Iowa Children's Hospital, or the Alzheimer's Association.
