He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, Jim (Rita) of Fairfield, Rose Bollei (Dave) of Tiffin, Carol Vorhies (Dan) of Monticello, John (Rhonda) of Fairfield, Barb Hammes (Jim Deutsch) of Fairfield and Mary Webb (Tony) of Batavia; his grandchildren, John Peiffer (Amy), Ann Peiffer, Jeff Hammes (Brenda), Laurie Haman (Jon), Shelly Schmit (Eric), Lonnie Bollei, Sue Manternach (Todd), Chris Vorhies (Randy Harris), Bill Vorhies (Megan), Trent Hammes (Crystal), Gavin Hammes (Amanda), Angie Hughell (Chuck Hunt), Mandy Pohren (Jeremy), Hughell, Darin Webb (Amanda Pichler) and Logan Webb (AJ); his sister Kathryn Krier of Sigourney; and his sister-in-law Marlene Hammes. He is also survived by 38 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
In-lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, The Lords Cupboard, Hospice Compassus, Camp Courageous or Donor's choice.
