We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2023, at the age of 94, Merle Daniel Vorhies of Fairfield, Iowa, born in Lockridge, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Vorhies and Exie Manning Vorhies. He is survived by: his wife Darlene; and his children, Greg Vorhies (Rhonda Vaughn) of Fairfield, Roger Vorhies (Karen) of Fairfield and Janet Vorhies of Washington. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family and friends.

Memorial contributions in Merle's honor may be directed to the Arc of Jefferson County.
